here’s what I scored (I’d probably put sadism and degradation lower and bondage and domination a little higher)

      Switch 93%
      Submissive 89%
      Experimental 86%
      Exhibitionist / Voyeur 68%
      Masochist 57%
      Sadist 54%
      Bondage 50%
      Dominant 46%
      Degradation 29%
      Vanilla 25%

On degradation I lean more toward objectification, and on the D\s stuff it’s also VERY gender dependent.

If you were completely un partnered and could find exactly the right person\people, what would your ideal long-term partnering relationship look like? Who would be involved? And what gender\s? What dynamics would be in play? (consider that a traditional marriage is a closed, heterosexual, vanilla coupling)

      • I think that is a complex question if sexual self coexist with your identity as a family member, a parent, a professional, a citizen of the general society.

Oh it is indeed!! Makes it so irresistable to ask 🙂

I feel like every five years or so I am in a completely different place with how and why I would answer a particular way. I live, I meet, I break through some boundary, I fall in love and all my ideas about what I want, what matters, and what’s possible change.

My current ideal would be an open threesome. Me + a Dominant Man + a bi-female switch or submissive.

I also want to see scores from more people!!

      • 89% Experimental, which seems appropriate. Naive question: what’s “Switch”. That’s #2 at 67%.

        • lake had me show all of mine, so you gotta too!

oh yes you do indeed ‘gotta too’!!… please Sir 😉

If you switch or are a switch it generally (there are variations on the nuances) means at least some aspects of your prefered role are dependent on the context or situational… so you may be/feel/play Dominant/sadist/Top OR submissive/masochist/bottom dependant on the person, the situation, or your mood.

Using a D/s example), if Both of the following activities seem equally applicable it would bode well for your ‘Switchability’ vs leaning strongly toward one or the other. If your heteroflexible or bi and want to have fun with it, flip the genders and see if that changes anything.

              1. After being given permission you greedily bury your face between Mallory’s legs. You hungrily worship every fold, its textures and flavors feeling an incredible surge of appreciation and arousal.

              2. After commanding me to spread my legs and keep them wide you greedily bury your face between them. You hungrily suck and lap enjoying the textures and flavors feeling incredibly aroused and in control.

(Do let us know if this is going to require further testing – or for you should I say ‘experimentation’ ;))

              • OK, I think I’m beginning to understand. But it’s all so hard, isn’t it…? And all these numbers…? And the vocabulary! Uh, could I maybe stay after class so maybe you can help me some more with this?

As for the survey, not going to go through it all again. but submissive was in the low teens, if not single digits. Dominant was in the low twenties. Vanilla, whatever that really means, high at number 3 or 4. Can’t remember the other categories.

                Can’t remember much…. Need further tutoring….

                • Oh yeah, and voyeur way up there, maybe at 2, or at least 3.

                  [lake rolls up sleeves]

Oh yes, I can see you are definitely going to need some special attention and lots of hands on experimentation if we’re going to make this tutoring stick. But have no fear, I am sure we cam structure these lessons so as to be ‘memorable’! hmmm, but where to start…

In the world of D/s i am an extreme switch, but its almost entirely based on gender. In the vanilla world, I think it’s much more blended because give and take are not as distinctive. I am very curious how people interpret\apply the concept of switch outside of D/s dynamics and in a strictly hetero sense. I would love to hear someone elaborate on this.

I understand your point on sadism, and think actually many people who play with ‘sensation’ or ‘intensity’ if asked what they like about it would have an answer that is a version of what you said. Even many of the people who are going for ‘pain’ are in fact after the byproducts of pain… Endorphins, focus, adrenaline, etc.
