Bruce Cockburn (I know! the name is really something–but it’s pronounced CO-burn) is a Canadian artist who has some gorgeous music, much of it about sex. This is one of my favorites; hypnotic, entrancing, full of desire. Give it a try!

Thanks for your post, Naughty Meggy. I’m a big Bruce Cockburn fan as well but I must confess that I pronounce it COCKburn. Why? It’s just fun. I’d have to say my favourite song by him is “If I had a rocket launcher.”

Yes. Very romantic, but not so sexy. One of those songs where I’m not so crazy about the lyrics, but the song sweeps me away anyway.
That’s what makes music so great and wonderful. A song will elicit different thoughts and feelings based on the person.
