James, “young and virile” is interesting. I am 65 and due to changes in diet, health I have never felt better in and out of the bedroom. I thought, when I was dating, after my marriage ended that I would never perform well in the bedroom again. Due to reading Wheat Belly, I dropped 25 pounds and have maintained that well. Due to having a loving and highly attractive partner, I rise to the occasion easily and readily. I found that having the right partner is what makes it work. We have an incredible sex life as we love each other, are highly attracted to each other. I have had a great deal of women in my life and many times had trouble with doing the act, because I was not into them. It has to be emotional, absolutely.
One of the things that I am always impressed by most, is how open and thoughtful and sincere you are about all of this. At the end of the day, no matter our age, our physical condition or our specific talents, we all want to be heard, understood and loved unconditionally. The unspoken truth is that, in the world we live in, it is very, very difficult to accomplish anything close to that, without a partner who is willing to be open to accepting whatever thoughts, or preferences or proclivities our partner may have without injecting some moral or ethical or social judgement.
It sounds as if you are an experienced and wise man, who understands that the most powerful connections (and arousal) result from such incredible honesty. I am certain that your lady knows this in her heart, trusts you implicitly with the truth you share with her and it is this acceptance and support that your lady finds so attractive and endearing about you.
