osted an update in the group Your Experiments 12 years, 6 months ago I am almost finished 50 Shades of Grey by EL James. Do not know if this is the right forum to comment on this book and if not, I apologize in advance but I would love to know if anyone else has read it and if so, do I stand alone in thinking that the writing and story are such drivel that I am shaking my head at the popularity of this book and the others that follow? I just cannot get past the bad writing. Compared to the phrasing on this forum, this is just not exciting. Bland, bland, bland even though the story line about the s & m, bondage, submission could be stirring, her writing strips of it of passion.

That link wouldnt work for me but I read all three books. I agree the writing was terrible. I liked the subject matter which is the only reason I continued to read. By the second book I was sick of reading the same scene over and over again. I think mr and mrs x could do much better with the story. đŸ˜‰
