Try staring with doing something…anything…DIFFERENTLY!
Then find a way to make it clear that you didn’t just do it for a cheap effect (like get the girl to look over at you!), but that it was done for a really good reason OTHER than just to be noticed…a reason that isn’t so obvious and that they can’t quite figure out on their own.

Once you have their eye, you better find a way to (quickly) get their attention…give them a clue or reveal to them what makes YOUR differences “better”…not in an arrogant way (unless you are gunning for the type of girl who likes that), but in a way that resonates for them. Only then will you ever have a chance to discover if there might be something more to that first impression.

Oh…do I REALLY have to mention that everyone appreciates being noticed by others…not just for how they look, but for how THEY are different too?!?

Maybe YOUR “act” of being different in order to get “noticed” yourself, is to simply open your eyes as was suggested and identify all of the less obvious ways that someone is unique or does something differently. Then find a way to let them know – a look, or acknowledgement or just walk right up to them and express your appreciation. It takes ALL senses to make a real connection!!!
