How private Are your sexual interests and/or kinks? Are they something you share only with your partners? Your closest friends? Anyone else? Are you out (so to speak) in any public way? Have you been at a different time in your life?

So that part was somewhat rhetorical… Now here is my real question; Is there any value for you in having other people know? If so why? And what aspects?

This is something that M and I have been discussing. I would really like to hear what other people think or have experienced relative to this topic. I am certainly willing to answer myself, but would like to hear from others first.
